1. Why did we create Sorb?
Sorb was created for a multitude of reasons. Firstly, we wanted to provide an alternative to single-use period products, thus helping the environment by creating a great re-usable product. Secondly, we wanted to make something that is comfortable, stylish and gives people ease of mind. Most importantly, we wanted to empower women with our Sorb products by giving them a space to talk and learn about periods in a non-judgmental environment.
2. What's the absorbency level of Sorb products?
Sorb shorts can take a lot! Unlike traditional menstrual products, Sorb products are designed to absorb a lot of liquid, to give you a better experience during a rough time. On average, about 9-20ml of liquid is released during a menstrual period. Sorb's 3-in-1 Shorts can absorb about 30ml of liquid at once while our Boy Shorts can absorb around 45ml.
3. How does the Sorb range technology work?
Sorb's Shorts are designed with 5-layer technology that ensures no leakage, quick drying and zero chance of stains.

Layer 1: Water abSORBing cloth
A quick drying material that won’t cause discomfort.
Layer 2: AbSORBent cloth
An absorbent material cloth that just abSORBs well. That’s it.
Layer 3: Non-woven fabric
Antibacterial and deodorising technology that just takes away any smell.
Layer 4-5: Double waterproof cloth
This double layer helps to keep everything locked in and also breathable.
4. Do Sorb products really work?
Sorb Shorts have been tried and tested. Our 5-layer technology is what makes our period shorts effective. The first two layers are focused on absorption. The third layer focuses on fighting any bacteria and smells. While the last two layers keeps all the liquids together as to ensure nothing leaks and stains your clothes.
5. What safety certifications does Sorb have?
Sorb is PFAS free and uses anti-bacterial fabric gusset.
6. How do I care for my Sorb shorts?
Rinse your new Sorb shorts before use in the shower or in the sink. Wash your Sorb shorts in the washing machine on delicate mode. Or hand wash them for extra care. Hang to dry. Don't use bleach or fabric softener. Following these steps will ensure your Sorb shorts will serve you for many years to come.
